Book Binding:
We LOVE to read in 1st grade and it's so important that our scholars have access to lots and lots of books. One way to expose our scholars to additional books is by assembling our own books from the website Reading A-Z. Ms. Berg always has books that need to be cut, folded, and stapled for scholars to read in class and take home to practice reading further. If you have an extra fifteen minutes or even an afternoon to spare, we would love your help assembling these books. This is a constant classroom need and we would LOVE your help.
Classroom Celebrations:
We will have classroom celebrations around major holidays and we would love your help making these celebrations a success. We need parent volunteers who can bring in supplies and help run games and crafts. Ms. Berg will send out a notice in FALCON folders before celebrations and you can indicate how you would like to help on this survey.
Reading:
We would love to welcome guest readers into our classroom to share their favorite books. If you have an extra 30 minutes to spare, we would love to have you share a book with us. If you are only available after school hours, we would love to have you record a book on tape for us to all enjoy at our listening center.
Donating Supplies:
We have a constant need for different resources in our classroom and would love your help in purchasing these supplies on a on-going basis. See the wish list tab our our website for specific needs.
